You sound an awful lot like quietwolf. Trump has been in office less than a month and now you blame him for Oroville Dam issues?

How about blaming Jerry MoonBeam Brown and the State DWR leadership?

Look at the programs this state spends billions on (like a bullet train to nowhere) and you blame Trump?

Actually, the Dam was built with SoCalifornia water suppliers. Maybe they should be paying for repairs and maintenance?
You're mad a new President hasn't responded while you kept your mouth shut when our President and Sec of State let our people die in Benghazi?

Even FEMA is not a First Response unit. Do some research.

Your heros in our State Legislature want to seceed from the Union and become an independent Sanctuary State - until they same leaders you love don't want to pony up thier own funds for OUR protection.

    Talk about who doesn't care.

You are a lot like quietwolf. My guess is you are one in the same. 7 year member and now you speak up? Hmmmm.....

"Several of my conservative friends have said that we should, "work together" with the president and the Republican majority because they won the election and Trump is "everyone's president." This is my response:

•I will not forget how badly he and so many others treated former President Barack Obama for 8 years...

•I will not support anyone that thinks its OK to put a pipeline to transport oil on Sacred Ground for Native Americans. And, it would run under the Missouri River, which provides drinking water for millions of people. An accident waiting to happen.

No, Hillary and Obama were Putin's puppets. Trump found out about one of his staff speaking with the russians and now that person is gone. Obama said he'd be more flexible and Hillary helped Putin get their hands on American Uranium.

Nice try though. How many additional accounts you going to make trying to get people to think you're supported on this forum? Even the libs I know think you're a hate-filled idiot.

Once again, quietpuss, you almost got it right. Actually the guy with no experience at anything other than organizing community action and events was your hero Barack Obama. You might not like Trump but he has been very, very successful. I'll take his 5 bankruptcies and 500-ish successes over Obama's failure and inexperience every day of the week.

Now give Obama, the no experience, community action organizer "credit, where credit is do". The U.S. may or may not be better off for his Presidency, but the Obama Family did leave the White House with a worth of $124M. He did something right, for him. I wonder how that lady is doing, with that phone that she said, "Obama is going to pay for it."

He didn't say that. Only those trying to equate strong immigration policy would say this. The reason is votes in order to stay in power. The people saying this keep saying they're helping the poor and illegals when in fact it is their policies that keep the poor down.
Don't believe me? Look at how the welfare crowd grew under Obama, especially minorities, and how the middle class shrunk under Obama.
Once again, quietpuss, the very people you support are the ones keeping people down. It keeps their voting base but so many are just too stupid to figure it out. The listen to fake news and never question anything their so-called leaders present.

    Sweden Democrats: Trump was right

    Published February 23, 2017

Trump was ridiculed by many after he gave a speech Saturday citing Sweden among a list of European countries affected by the scourge of Islamic terror. Referring to the massive number of Middle Eastern refugees that have poured into the country, Trump said Sweden was “having problems like they never thought possible.” Some Swedish politicians openly derided Trump’s portrayal of the country – but riots in a heavily immigrant suburb of Stockholm on Monday evening put an end to most of the mockery

Two leading Swedish politicians have a message for President Trump’s critics: He’s right.
Per Jimmie Akesson and Mattias Karlsson, both leaders of the Sweden Democrats, penned a Wall Street Journal op-ed on Wednesday supporting Trump’s characterization of a Muslim immigrant-led crime crisis in Sweden.
“Mr. Trump did not exaggerate Sweden’s current problems,” Akesson and Karlsson wrote. “If anything, he understated them.”
“Riots and social unrest have become a part of everyday life,” Akesson and Karlsson wrote. “Police officers, firefighters and ambulance personnel are regularly attacked. Serious riots in 2013, involving many suburbs with large immigrant populations, lasted for almost a week. Gang violence is booming. Despite very strict firearms laws, gun violence is five times as common in Sweden, in total, as in the capital cities of our three Nordic neighbors combined.”
They added: “Anti-Semitism has risen. Jews in Malmo are threatened, harassed and assaulted in the streets. Many have left the city, becoming internal refugees in their country of birth.”
The Sweden Democrats duo ended the op-ed with a warning for the United States.
“For the sake of the American people,” Akesson and Karlsson wrote, “with whom we share so many strong historical and cultural ties, we can only hope that the leaders in Washington won’t make the same mistakes that our socialist and liberal politicians did.”

Is that a trick question? Like is there a fourth of July in Canada?

To my knowledge, "religions" have anti-(insert n name of diety) figures. Religions in parenthesis to highlght the idea that a faith that is exclusive may not by a faith at all. A faith that divides "us" into "them" and "us" is not, in my opinion, a true religion.

Then there are recognized religions that do not have a diety or there are mutiple dieties, or each individual is a diety unto themselves. What was the origin of the anti in anti-Christ?

Is creating "anti" an effort to divide people? An effort to incite warfare between peoples? A rallying cry to go into battle? A sentiment of if you aren't with us, you are against us and deserve to die???

    Tell us somethng, Quietpuss:

What's your solution for Obamacare? Can you present something other than anecodotal satire and your never ending hatred?

Obamacare has serious issues and is a failure. Premiums are out of control. The costs to businesses are substantial. Many people have been pushed into Medicare which needs more money from taxpayers, has reimbursement rates so low that specialists refuse or can't accept government reimbursement rates, you can't keep your own doctor as Obama promised, and in poorer counties like Yuba Sutter, the reimbursement rates for the high population of government funded insurance clients is breaking our medical institutions. There is a shortage of doctors willing to enter the medical field because the training isn't worth the paperwork, the hours, and the restricitions placed on them once they get their license.

Many experts trace this back to the creation of HMO's and PPO's back in the 70/s and 80's.

Can you offer up some thoughts or suggestions or do you just sit on your 'puss and spew hate?

Or is this all your handlers told you post on this topic?

Here's an interesting read about Trump and healthcare. I know, it's Breitbart, but it gives some points to ponder.

The defeat of Paul Ryan's healthcare bill was all a part of President Trump's dealmaking history, detailed in his book "The Art Of The Deal."
    By Breitbart:
Exactly two weeks ago, this author predicted the defeat of the American Health Care Act — and explained that it was a step towards the final, actual deal that will repeal and replace Obamacare.President Donald Trump faces three irreconcilable factions: the GOP establishment, conservatives, and Democrats. He must bring them together — to “deliver the goods,” a key rule in The Art of the Deal. But first he must show them “the downside” — and convince them they will fail on their own.
The most difficult faction to deal with is the Republican establishment — not because they are politically strong, but because on policy issues like health care, they are convinced that they have all the answers and that Trump just does not understand.
So he let them make the first move — and he exposed two things about them: first, that they had not come up with a plan that was ready for prime time; second, that they had not done any of the political legwork necessary to sell their plan to voters.
Trump gave Speaker Paul Ryan and the House Republican leadership enough rope to hang themselves. Instead of dictating terms to him, they will now depend on him to save them, politically. They must accept whatever plan he will put forward.
But Trump will not make the next move. He will let the conservatives move first. They are the big winners in the first round — much more so than the Democrats, who are enjoying the spectacle of Republican dysfunction but have no role to play yet.
The conservatives will proceed with their demand for a full repeal of Obamacare. And then they will face the ire of voters who are deeply unhappy with Obamacare but upset about losing the paltry, expensive health insurance they currently have.
That, too, will strengthen Trump, and convince conservatives they need his leadership.
Whereupon Trump will turn to the moderate Democrats and offer them a deal — perhaps catastrophic health coverage in exchange for repealing Obamacare.
Democrats would take that deal because they would see a government-backed catastrophic insurance system as a possible path to the universal health care system of their dreams. Republicans would take that deal — after exhausting all of the other options — because it would leave enough room for the free market to provide insurance for most health issues, and for states to experiment with their own policies. And the more health care stakeholders who can be brought into the process, the better.
To quote Morpheus, from the Matrix Reloaded: “What happened, happened, and couldn’t have happened any other way.”
