    THE CONSERVATIVE/REPUBLICAN/MADHATTER/AMMOSEXUAL—NRA/RACIST/ANTI-WOMAN PARTY—and growing

The GOP claims to be the Party of Patriots (what a yuk): FALSE. Here are the Veterans Bills people like Con/Repub "patriots" Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell have blocked in Congress

    THE CLAY-HUNT SUICIDE PREVENTION ACT

    HEALTH BENEFITS AND RESTORATION ACT

    WOUNDED VETERANS JOB SECURITY ACT

    VETERANS RETRAINING ACT

    HOMELESS VETERANS REINTEGRATION

    DISABLE VETERANS HOME ACCESSIBILTY GRANT

    JOB CORPS ACT

    TORTURE VETERANS & VICTIMS RELIEF

    VETERANS BUSINESS CENTER ACT

But Con/Repubs/Madhatters love draft-dodger Donald Four Bankruptcies Trump and Canadian immigrant Madhatter Rafael Eduardo "Ted" Cruz.

    GOP, a laugh a minute.

IF LIBERALS ARE LAZY "MOOCHERS," THEN TELL ME:

WHY ARE 95% OF THE POOREST COUNTIES REPUBLICAN [WHICH YUBA IS FOR CALIFORNIA—ONE OF THE POOREST; ONE YEAR, IT WAS THE POOREST]?

WHY ARE 8 OUT OF 10 OF THE POOREST STATES REPUBLICAN?

WHY DO RED STATES TAKE MORE MONEY FROM THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT THAN THEY PAY?

SO REMIND ME AGAIN WHO THE "TAKERS" ARE!

Hey troll, the poorest counties are in red states, like California. If you were half as intelligent as you think you are you should have figured that out. It's the states that set the policies that destroy the economy. Like California that has gone from the world 6th largest economy to 8th.

Maybe that shows how tough it is in the world if Ca with all her troubles has been moved down two notches under poor leadership?

We could be 4 or higher if we weren't the absolute worst state in the nation to do business. There are plenty of sources to prove that out. We continue to lose businesses and taxpayers, replacing them with illegals and low-paying jobs - although job counts don't state they aren't career-type jobs - so the libs buy what leadership sells. Get off you hiney and go talk to business owners around the state. It is eye-opening. Then go talk to business owners in states where they are welcomed. If you need a local example of that in action, look at Marysville and Yuba City. One has made business difficult, the other has welcomed business.

We Liberal Christian Democrats want what Conservatives/Republicans/Tea Party people are against (incredibly):
Health Care as a right, not a privilege

    Accessible higher education

Removal of the wage cap for Social Security so the rich pay their fair share

    Student Debt (slavery) relief

    Campaign Finance Reform

The rebuilding of our crumbling infrastructure

    Elimination of impediments to voting

    Paid Maternity Leave

A fair wage that people can actually live on

Trade Agreements that don't gut our economy and throw our workers under the bus

Elimination of all tax loopholes used by the ultra rich.

There are undoubtedly several more but you get the point.

Why do Conservatives/Republicans/Tea Party members insist on voting against their own interests? Maybe they think if they save enough pennies, they, too, will be the benefits of money constantly flowing up from the working poor (90+ % of the U.S. population) to the rich and greedy.

Alternatively, is it just plain ol' Racism? "I'm white and the GOP is now the white people's Party, so I better vote my immediate interest—white," thinks a Limbaugh/Fox News brainwashed individual.

We Liberal Christian Democrats want what Conservatives/Republicans/Tea Party people are against (incredibly):
Health Care as a right, not a privilege -
Ok, who pays the premium? Many of "us conservatives" that you love to hate have been asking for allowing healthcare plan competition between states - but it is blocked by our LIBERAL leadership in California. Are you willing to limit settlement awards when things go sideways? These big settlements add to the cost. The government will never deliver healthcare as well as the private sector. Remember, Obama and the democrats shoved the ACA on us. Republicans didn't vote for it. Many Republicans have suggested reforms on healthcare and insurance but you ignore this fact.

Accessible higher education - The reason the cost is so high is partly due to those loans you point out further down. Guaranteed money for the institutions so they raise rates and hire "administrators". Do some research.

Removal of the wage cap for Social Security so the rich pay their fair share - Now you sound like TRUMP who has been saying the rich need to pay their fair share!! I think most people want a reasonable, fair, and simple tax code.

Student Debt (slavery) relief - A lot of people have got their education without debt. If you took out the loan, you pay it back. That's being responsible and living up to your obligations.

Campaign Finance Reform - I know many Republicans including myself that have been screaming about this since the 70's and 80's. Wait.....TRUMP is saying he wants to change the current lobbyist/PAC mess that is corrupt. Trump is the only candidate that isn't beholden to donors and can effect this type of change.

The rebuilding of our crumbling infrastructure - Agreed. Stop funding illegals, period. Stop foreign aid to those that hate us. Create a tax structure that puts people to work so there are revenues available to make said repairs. Many republicans want this too; Trump wants to do this.

Elimination of impediments to voting - Impediments? Show your ID that you live where you say you live and are legally eligible to vote. It isn't the Republicans that had dead people voting for Obama.

Paid Maternity Leave - Again, you expect the employer to fund this. This means you pay higher costs for goods and services. Some companies do this but people won't shop them; they go to Wally World for cheaper prices. You can't have both as the money has to come from somewhere.

A fair wage that people can actually live on - WOW. Let's see: How about finishing high school with a diploma so you are eligible to be hired? How about being drug free so you are a decent candidate to be hired? How about maintaining a decent personal appearance so a company wants you as their face to their customer base? If you are stuck making minimum wage it is almost always because of personal choices. The paper ALWAYS has jobs that pay a living wage if you make yourself qualified. Stop asking Uncle Sam to give you something you should earn.

Trade Agreements that don't gut our economy and throw our workers under the bus - No argument here. Trump is saying this too. Are you listening?

Elimination of all tax loopholes used by the ultra rich. Almost everyone except the ultra-rich agree! Trump agrees here once again too. Hillary is getting some big bucks from the Wall Street folks and Trump is telling them the Ultra-Rich, just like HIM, should pay a fair and proper tax!

There are undoubtedly several more but you get the point.
The point is you think you support Hillary but in reality TRUMP is wanting to do - and has the stones and ability to do it - the very things you want to see!! Are YOU getting the point yet?

Why do Conservatives/Republicans/Tea Party members insist on voting against their own interests?
Maybe they think if they save enough pennies, they, too, will be the benefits of money constantly flowing up from the working poor (90+ % of the U.S. population) to the rich and greedy.

Alternatively, is it just plain ol' Racism? "I'm white and the GOP is now the white people's Party, so I better vote my immediate interest—white," thinks a Limbaugh/Fox News brainwashed individual.

The brainwashed one, my friend, is you from drinking too much of that liberal Kool-Aid. They've got you convinced Republicans are evil and Democrats are for the people when in fact Republicans want us all to be built up and the Democrats are the ones keeping you down.
Al Gore lied about the climate and told everyone about being "greener" while maintaining a big mansion and estate plus driving those gas guzzlers liberal hate.
You really need to do some soul searching (I think you already are) as Trump wants to build up America and Americans. Hillary wants to build up Hillary and she's proven it throughout her political career.
Welcome to the Republican party - be all you can be!

And yes, before you ask, I would like to toss the Republicans and Democrats out of Congress because they have failed us.

    GOP----A laugh a minute.

Here we go again. An increasingly unhinged Bundy family begins preparing for a THIRD standoff somewhere, sometime. The Welfare Queens strike again.

And the Right Wing domestic terrorists have found a loony, baloney and Racist "lawyer" and have filed a "lawsuit":

"…Other parts of the lawsuit include accusations that Reid wants to sell the land to the Chinese and that the judge in the case should recuse herself because she’s Latino.

"But even more troubling than the frivolous lawsuit is the fact that the Bundy family has made no secret about wanting to kickstart yet another showdown with federal agents. The Bundy family is still ILLEGALLY grazing their cattle on federal lands, and the Bureau of Land Management is getting pretty fed up with it. Environmental groups are also urging the BLM to act, because Bundy’s cattle — often times half-starved and neglected — are destroying the wildlife in what was meant to be protected land.."

    Addicting Information News Report

The Right Wingnut "cowboys" ride again. What they need is a good A. whuppin'. Alas, White Privilege will let them carry on like the anti-American jackasses they truly are.

If you are going to go so far as to judge the GOP and right wingers by the actions of the Bundy clan then liberals and Democrats have to be judged by the same standard.
Are you ready to go down that road? Should I lump you in the the liberals rioting at Trump rallies for example? Or the Democratic Senator that asked the military if the build-up on Guam would capsize the island?
C'mon, let's be intelligent at least a little bit.

I see nothing wrong with stopping immigrants from the Middle East, especially when we've been attacked on our own soil by some them, until we figure a better way to properly screen them. That is not racist.
So to all the soldiers that fought, died and will fight for justice and to defend all citizens in this great nation. Here’s the finger.
Yes, defend the CITIZENS of this great nation - and many citizens of other nations. I defend your right to speak out about these things but giving our troops the finger? You're free to move to one of those countries that are more in line with your idea of goverment.

It's really funny that so many of the things you complain about are things Trump wants to address/repair/replace. You're more Republican and level headed than your think. Getting closer - good job!

Yup - must be those evil Republicans again.
Guess what? Diane Feinstein, now in the UC system, has allotted $9 million of our tax dollars for "undocumented students".
Unless you're going to complain and blame this liberal bastion for screwing the California Citizens and giving our hard earned money to criminals, don't blame the GOP elsewhere.

Once again, Trump wants the rich to pay their fair share and do something about the poor by putting people to work. It was President Johnson (D) that wanted the Great Society that has kept blacks down for generations now.

Trump wants to address the things YOU want addressed - yet you support Hillary who every expert says will be an extension of Obama's failures.
The more you complain the more you see that Trump is the only candidate willing to tackle Congress and the establishment to make America great again. Trump wants to do the same things you want done. Fascinating.

Yesterday, the Republicans in California have asked Governor Brown for more funding to help the poor. Looks like those lousy REPUBLICANS are trying to help the poor after all.

Once again, you see the changes you want are not being done by the party you support. They generally aren't done by either party because they are beholded to donor, lobbyists, PAC's. Trump wants to change this for our beneift and our country's benefit. I'm sure you'll dig up more stuff to support those Dems. Now you're starting to grasp why Trump is popular. He's in position to change things for the better. He may beat Hillary and if he does he'll rocking the world of numerous republicans too. The media and both party's establishments don't want the populace to see just how many are upset. They want people to stay in their boxes and not realize that a great majority are unhappy with both parties. Unfortunately for Democrats (this time) their choice is really lousy. I'm waiting for the attack ads to start as Donald and Hillary turn the heat on each other.

The presidency of Ronald Reagan in the United States was marked by multiple scandals, resulting in the INVESTIGATION, INDICTMENT, OR CONVICTION OF OVER 138 ADMINISTRATION OFFICIALS, the LARGEST NUMBER FOR ANY U.S. PRESIDENT.

    And from Daily KOS:

Challenged by a conservative to present evidence that Reagan ran the most corrupt administration of the 20th century, I assembled this list of convicts from Reagan's ranks.

    1. Lyn Nofziger--White House Press Secretary - Convicted on charges of illegal lobbying of White House in Wedtech scandal. The lobbying would not have been illegal had he not been White House Press Secretary.

    2. Michael Deaver, Reagan's Chief of Staff, received three years' probation and was fined one hundred thousand dollars after being convicted for lying to a congressional subcommittee and a federal grand jury about his lobbying activities after leaving the White House. Same as with Lyn Nofziger.

    3. James Watt, Reagan's Secretary of the Interior was indicted on 41 felony counts for using connections at the Department of Housing and Urban Development to help his private clients seek federal funds for housing projects in Maryland, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. Watt conceded that he had received $500,000 from clients who were granted very favorable housing contracts after he had intervened on their behalf. Watt was eventually sentenced to five years in prison and 500 hours of community service.

    4. John Poindexter, Reagan's national security advisor, guilty of five criminal counts involving conspiracy to mislead Congress, obstructing congressional inquiries, lying to lawmakers, used "high national security" to mask deceit and wrong-doing...

    5. Richard Secord pleaded guilty to a felony charge of lying to Congress over Iran-Contra. Appointed by William Casey to assist Oliver North.

    6. Elliott Abrams was appointed by President Reagan in 1985 to head the State Department's Latin American Bureau. He was closely linked with ex-White House aide Lt. Col. Oliver North's covert movement to aid the Contras. Working for North, Abrams coordinated inter-agency support for the contras and helped solicit illegal funding from foreign powers as well as domestic contributors. Abrams agreed to cooperate with Iran-Contra investigators and pled guilty to two charges reduced to misdemeanors. He was sentenced in 1991 to two years probation and 100 hours of community service but was pardoned by President George Bush...

    7. Robert C. McFarlane, Reagan's National Security Advisor, pled guilty to four misdemeanors and was sentenced to two years probation and 200 hours of community service. He was also fined $20,000. He received a blanket pardon from President George Bush...

    8. Alan D. Fiers was the Chief of the Central Intelligence Agency's Central American Task Force. Fiers pled guilty in 1991 to two counts of withholding information from congress about Oliver North's activities and the diversion of Iran arms sale money to aid the Contras. He was sentenced to one year of probation and 100 hours of community service. Alan Fiers received a blanket pardon for his crimes from President Bush...

    9. Thomas G. Clines: convicted of four counts of tax-related offenses for failing to report income from the operations;

    10. Carl R. Channel - Office of Public Diplomacy , partner in International Business- first person convicted in the Iran/Contra scandal, pleaded guilty of one count of defrauding the United States

    11. Richard R. Miller - Partner with Oliver North in IBC, a Office of Public Diplomacy front group, convicted of conspiracy to defraud the United States.

    12. Frank Gomez

    13.. Donald Fortier

    14. Clair George was Chief of the CIA's Division of Covert Operations under President Reagan. George was convicted of lying to two congressional committees in 1986. George faced a maximum five year federal prison sentence and a $20,000 fine for each of the two convictions. Jurors cleared George of five other charges including two counts of lying to a federal grand jury. Clair George received a blanket pardon for his crimes from President George Bush...

    15. Rita Lavelle was indicted, tried and convicted of lying to Congress and served three months of a six-month prison sentence.

    16. Philip Winn - Assistant HUD Secretary. Pleaded guilty to one count of scheming to give illegal gratuities.

    17. Thomas Demery - Assistand HUD Secretary - pleaded guilty to steering HUD subsidies to politically connected donors.

    18. Deborah Gore Dean - executive assistant to Samuel Pierce - indicted on thirteen counts, three counts of conspiracy, one count of accepting an illegal gratuity, four counts of perjury, and five counts of concealing articles. She was convicted on twelve accounts. She appealed and prevailed on several accounts but the convictions for conspiracy remained.

    19. Catalina Villaponda - Former US Treasurer

    20. Joseph A. Strauss - Accepting kickbacks from developers

    21. Oliver North - He was indicted on sixteen felony counts and on May 4, 1989, he was convicted of three: accepting an illegal gratuity, aiding and abetting in the obstruction of a congressional inquiry, and destruction of documents (by his secretary, Fawn Hall, on his instructions). He was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Gerhard A. Gesell on July 5, 1989, to a three-year suspended prison term, two years probation, $150,000 in fines, and 1,200 hours community service. His conviction was later overturned.

One thing you can say about Reagan's administration is those law breakers were prosecuted. Hillary was made Secretary of State.

Interesting Article by Bill Moyers, one of the few Journalists who I respect for his integrity and honesty and sets a very high standard for his profession.
    http://billmoyers.com/story/the-msm-could-not-care-less-about-this-threat-to-democracy/

You could almost say that voter suppression and manipulation is hard-wired into the modern Republican Party – from the early 1960s, when William Rehnquist, then an attorney and Republican activist and later Supreme Court chief justice, was accused of patrolling Arizona polling places and intimidating black and Latino voters; to the 2000 Supreme Court coup d’état awarding the election to George W. Bush by denying Florida voters their choice; to the Supreme Court gutting the Voting Rights Act in 2013 by invalidating the provision that required certain jurisdictions to get federal approval for new election laws," -- Neal Gabler

Wolf, the only thing more hypocritical than the article was your response. You have stated many times that you do not identify as leaning to the left or the right, but your endorsement of this article shows how far to the left you really are. Where was the mention of the lost Cook County ballot box that won the election for Kennedy? Where was the mention of Obama receiving 100% of the vote in some places? Where was the mention of the discrepancy of the exit polls to reported vote? This article was so biased calling it yellow journalism would be as lacking in truth as this article was lacking in honesty. Why are the Donkeys so afraid of having to show ID to vote? The poor can’t afford to get one is a joke, they don’t have to pay for it, but they will have to show proof they are who they are and they live where they say they do. Now don’t try to say you can exist in this country without having to show ID at some point in your life. If you can do it once you can do it again.

So I'm Hypocritical because I like Bill Moyers and found his article interesting? A journalist who by the way has earned his stripes and accolades several times over and whose writing and pieces surpass both the Right and Left Journalist community. Realizing of course you're still stuck in banjo land and chew to last far into eternity, I suggest you hold off your comments until you can say something comparable to Bill Moyers-he's way out of your league. If you can't respect your betters, then don't say anything.

For all you Conservatives/Republicans being fed a steady diet of Right Wingnut fairy tales from Fraud News, Rush Limbaugh and AM radio, here's laughing at you.

A top Republican official said Obama’s full-throated praise of facts and evidence would surely come back to haunt Democrats in November.

Here's the Democratic Party imploding in Nevada.

Here's Anderson Cooper lying on CNN about Hillary (You know, not Fox but the Clinton News Network):

So quietwolf, when you complain about the lies from the news networks and other dysfunctional so-called leaders, let me give you some timeless advice: People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.
Hillary is in a very thin-walled glass house and is an FBI indictment away from a failed presidency bid.

Now one of Bill and Hillary's victims is asking why they aren't interviewed. Hillary worked very hard to destroy Bill's women.

Wolf, my remarks were directed at the article and how prejudiced, unfair and partial it was reported. This was supposed to be a news article on voter fraud, not an editorial opinion. It was so one sided that it could never be considered journalism except by the extreme progressive left. Moyers name was never mentioned, but in my mind he is far from being the stellar journalist that you think he is. I must have hit pretty close to the mark on you since you ignored the contents of my remark and with the standard progressive left response replied by attacking me with name calling instead of replying to my stated facts

Can anyone remember a single thing Congress has done to help the American people (not the rich and greedy or corporations who are not people) since Republicans took control of Congress in 2010?

If you take the time to read...lots of Republicans voters have been calling for Congress to get dumped too. Hillary isn't going to do anything fo the sort, that's for sure.

Well you are either horribly misinformed or just an outright liar because Moyer's name was mentioned in my post, indeed his name was mentioned in the very first sentence.  You didn't hit close to the mark but rather I ignored your comment because as I said (repeating it slowly for you so you don't miss anyting), I found the article interesting and decided to share it.  I don't care that you don't like it, or think it is too far left or inaccurate etc.  My point in sharing it wasn't to have your approval or any one elses, especially since Moyers who has been recognized repeatedly for his excellence and work across all lines is some how how repellant to you.  Given the choice of citing Moyers as a reputable authority or some other source such as WND or Limburger's talk show, Moyers comes out way on top.

Wolf, in my first response to you I did not mention Moyer’s name, but did say the article was prejudiced, unfair partial. In the second I replied to your rant by stating I was addressing the article, not the author, but again you felt compelled to attack by name calling instead of addressing my remarks. The article lack integrity and honesty due to its overwhelming bias. Honesty and integrity were what you said Moyers possessed. Also, you reinforced your opinion of the article by the remarks you made. So, I called you a hypocrite and the article and the author are of the same ilk. You responded, as all the progressive left does, by name calling, hate mongering and ignored the subject by trying to destroy the messenger instead of the message. So we are on the same page as to what a hypocrite is here is the definition: somebody who pretends to have admirable principles, beliefs, or feelings but behaves otherwise. I know there are some on the right that act the same way, but at least I will admit it. To reinforce my opinion, review the above postings and tell me which side does the majority of name calling, makes hateful remarks and in general lacks civility!

If you were familiar at all with Moyers work you will know the bias criticism doesn't hold much water as he has taken on both GOP and Dem. administrations equally. Knowing Moyers, and the Culture of the Southern states as well as the history of voting he is spot on. As laudable as the voter id laws can be, they are used to support an ongoing systemic problem in the southern and "bible belt states" of systematic discrimination (on both political sides). It doesn't matter which side does it or where it happens it is wrong and still happens and is still supported despite efforts to fix it, and the voter id laws which attempted to fix it have only resulted in an innovative way to keep "certain people" from voting and having a voice. The article itself you don't like because it was impartial (if you have followed Moyers journalism you would know that both sides of the fence hold him in high esteem for the reasons mentioned above. He just happened to say some facts you didn't like hearing.

Now, regarding personal attacks. 1) You were the one who first started calling people Trolls and Hypocrite-if there is backlash from that then don't do it. 2) I don't care if you believe me to be extreme right, extreme left or somewhere in the middle. You can either accept what I have told you about me or not (No other options). You only have an opinion on what you see, which is very little (Humans are complex and saying you know their political history and mindset from reading it hear, is like say you are an expert on aquatics because you have a bowl of goldfish. If you wish me to engage in personal attacks on you just tell me an I will "Loose the Hounds" and there will be no question of what a personal attack really looks like-if I feel it worth the effort.
